The rush is over, the concrete is poured and leveled. Now we just have to wait for it to cure.
Once it's dry, we have to remove the forms. This is a lot of work too! We want to try to re-use as much of the wood as possible in building the forms for the second pour, plus we can use some of it for the house itself.

Some of the forms really didn't want to come loose.
Brett built boxes around the cardboard tubes to help weight them down. They'll get filled during the second pour for the basement walls.
